Families will like the permanent collections because there are lots of models (e.g.: the arena as it was in Roman times), sarcophagi etc. The museum organises all sorts of activities for families: on the first Sunday of the month, for example, there are family ‘let’s find out’ tours, with games: « jeux te raconte » ; stories, .. There are also educational workshops, sculpture workshops.. Idea: go and visit the museum before you visit the town itself, you will get a lot more out of the visit that way. Workshops cost about 6 euros, the rest is free …
