Aubagne is pretty little town, with nice colored facades. Marcel Pagnol (1895 – 1974), a famous French novelist and filmmaker, was born and lived in Aubagne. You will find there many attractions for the whole family.

In order to recreate the universe of Marcel Pagnol (French novelist and filmmaker of the 20th Century), ‘santons’ makers (provencal Christmas crib figurines) have created about 200 figurines and scenes of the life and movies of Marcel Pagnol. This is a fun attraction for kids: the older ones will discover the life of a famous French novelist and the younger ones will stick to the display case/ showcase to better see the figurines.
