The approach used by the centre is to get people –particularly children- to look closely at the environment, even when they are very young. During the school holidays the centre organises «workshops» for eco-friendly youngsters: the children have a packed day, ranging from gardening to building their version of an environmentally friendly town, via making recycled paper … You leave your children (aged 3 to 10) with a packed lunch and the staff does the rest, including providing an organic snack at tea-time, so they can try, for example, organic herbal teas. During term-time there are workshops like this every Wednesday morning.
