Musée Grévin de la Provence
Patrons include French singer Mireille Mathieu and broadcasting personality Jean-Pierre Foucault (both born in the region). The museum traces the history of Provence over the past 27 centuries: from the founding of Marseille around 600 B.C. to the filming of «Manon des Sources», a film set in the area and based on a famous book by Provençal author Marcel Pagnol. The museum is all at ground level and allows pushchairs in when not too busy. The scenes have all been designed very artistically and are accessible to everyone. Under sevens get in free of charge.
