Who could possibly resist this lovely little village perched on the hillside. Time stands still here, the ouside world forgotten. Just getting here takes you into another world!

Park at the entrance to Aurons (coming from Pélissanne). Go past the town hall and continue along the road, which gradually turns into a lane. Go down the side of a field of olive-trees and you find yourself surrounded by pine-trees. A lovely walk for all the family, which brings you back to the north side of the village. You can do it on bikes, but best for the 6 and overs. IMPORTANT! In the summer, walks are not allowed in the "zone rouge" (« red alert zone »), a protected area because of the danger of fires breaking out. The best thing to do is go to the Tourist Office in Pélissanne, where they can tell you more about it and give you maps for the walks.
