La Roque d'Antheron is a hiker’s paradise! 180 km of marked trails .. This is the only site in the department to have been given a seal of approval by the French Popular Sports Federation. Lots of way-marked paths and circular routes, distances vary but all are accessible with a pushchair or a small bike. In summer, as the forested areas are out of bounds, you can walk the paths by the river Durance, which remain open. Visit the Durance in the spring, the flora and fauna are amazing! Our advice: make sure you do the three French Federation of Popular Sports walks, because they are really family-orientated: get there whenever you like between 8am and 2pm with your picnic and take the circular route. (April, June and September)
