Between the Luberon and the Alpilles, Lamanon is a pretty village with lots of plus points for families.

Perfect happiness for families! Just take a baby-carrier rather than a push-chair and off you go! It takes a good ten minutes to get up there (if you don’t make any detours) but when you arrive there’s a super view and a great children’s play area! There are also all sorts of way-marked paths around the caves. IMPORTANT! In the summer, walks are not allowed in the "zone rouge" (« red alert zone »), a protected area because of the danger of fires breaking out. The best thing to do is go to the Tourist Office where they can tell you more about it, or phone 08.11.20.13.13.
