Le Cercle
We really fell for this café/restaurant: in the summer the atmosphere is «guinguette» (open-air café/dance floor), with coloured lightbulbs strung above you, children (yours included!) running about all over the place or playing by the fountain. Perfectly safe, an absolute joy! Concerts are organised sometimes on summer evenings. Open every afternoon and evening during the season, except Tuesdays.
The plane tree
One of the oldest plane trees in Provence (1820). Its 2 metre wide trunk is a great hiding-place for children.

The church
Notre Dame d'Aurons
Our Lady of Aurons is said to protect the village and its people. From her statue, which overlooks the village, you get a fantastic view of the Costes mountains.

Tourist Office
All the tourist info for the five communes in the Costes mountains area (Aurons, Alleins, La Barben, Pélissanne, Vernègues). Place Roux de Brignolles, Pélissanne. 04.90.55.15.55. Open Tuesday to Friday 10am -12.30pm and 2pm – 6pm. Saturdays from 9am until 12pm and 2pm - 6pm.
