Tourismeenfamille.com was the brainchild of an ordinary mum who was tired of making phone-call after phone-call to find out whether this hotel or that B&B had rooms that were suitable for her and her children. A mum who was tired of driving for miles to visit a recommended town or village only to find that when she got there she couldn’t use the pushchair because of the cobbled streets. A mum who was tired of having to look at a lot of different websites to find out what she needed to know:
where to go, where to sleep, what to do and what to see when she got there...as always, with the children!
A mum who is convinced that you CAN take children on a tourist holiday.
A mum who therefore decided to create her own interactive guide to fill the gap in the market with respect to family-orientated tourist websites.

So who is this mum then?
Juliette, 38, mother of Jules (7), Rémi (5) and Félix (2). In other words, she is your typical TOURISME EN FAMILLE mum!

Having worked as project manager for 10 years in the information systems consultancy sector, Juliette grasped the opportunity of setting up her own project when she moved to Provence!
Who better to decide the best places to stay? Who better, than a mum who’d just moved to the area, to promote the best of tourism in Provence?

Each of the places described on this site has been thoroughly researched by a mum:
she has visited every town, checked out every recommended place to stay, met the individuals responsible for the activities listed.

No stone has been left unturned. And everywhere she’s been, she has evaluated the facilities from a mum’s point of view.
